REX Engineering Group reviewed and stamped engineering calculations for all connections, including shear, bracing and moment. There were several conditions where connections had unusually large copes, including a W27 framed into a W18 beam. REX handled these by using conventional details and working with the EOR to ensure the connections had the capacity that was actually required at those locations. REX worked to provide engineering calculations for temporary cable bracing and moment connections for modified load paths, providing direction on sequencing to ensure stability during construction.
