Under the direction of the Principal, responsibilities will include; manage all aspects of a variety of assigned projects including clarifying scope, schedule, technical approach, design, time tracking and client invoicing. The Project Manager will also oversee engineers to ensure that the technical quality of project documents are met. The project manager monitors and directs workflow on assigned projects while meeting scheduled phase deadlines for drawings and specifications. Is also responsible for tracking project profitability and ensuring accurate client invoicing.

The ideal candidate will be a responsible, mature and seasoned professional. They will foster and maintain good client relationships while managing project MEP design from programming to final construction documents and they will remain involved through the completion of the construction project. Detailed coordination with the electrical department will be expected.

Candidate will provide leadership to firm engineers, designers and drafting teams in order to provide the client with accurate construction documents while meeting project deadlines.

Under the direction of the Principal, is responsible for creating, planning, organizing and executing electrical design projects, project control, and staff supervision. Will lead coordination efforts with experts in all building design trades. Will proactively communicate with Principal on all production and performance issues. Will train staff and provide guidance for professional development. Will continue to maintain strong working relationships with a diverse construction and design team.

This position requires excellent communication skills and experience presenting engineering designs to clients and staff. Experience training less experienced staff and overseeing project production. Minimum of a BS degree in electrical engineering, 7-10 years of design experience and P.E. license.

Candidate will collaborate with engineers and other engineering disciplines to ensure quality of design. Will perform Title 24 calculations, prepare layout and design of electrical systems for commercial, institutional and educational projects. Will conduct interdisciplinary reviews and provide coordination of data to ensure a compatible design.

This position requires AUTOCAD proficiency to prepare 2D drawings. Minimum 2 years of experience in design of electrical power, lighting, fire alarm system. Strong Revit and CAD skills. Minimum of a BS degree in electrical engineering. 2-5 years’ experience is preferred.

Candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing and executing mechanical design projects that will include HVAC designs that meet project budget and schedule requirements. Will perform field survey, obtain plan check approval and provide construction administration support.

Ideal candidates shall have mechanical design experience and must be able to lead coordination efforts with experts in all building design trades. The individual must have good knowledge of building codes and design experience with a wide range of mechanical system types.
