REX Engineering Group is excited to announce Kevin Christensen has joined our firm. Kevin oversees all aspects of the MEP team in Los Angeles and Chicago. His responsibilities include providing direction for proposals, budget, and project planning. He implements processes and procedures within the MEP team.
Kevin brings over 35 years of management and design experience in the MEP Engineering industry. He provided leadership and direction for Engineering Management, Operations, Project Management, Production, Design, Financials, and Business Development.
He has a robust portfolio managing diverse engineering projects in a wide variety of market sectors which includes – Commercial, Industrial (Food/Manufacturing/Distribution), Education, Healthcare, Residential, Hospitality, Government, Mixed-use, and Retail. He has experience working on some overseas projects as well which includes – Muqarnas Tower (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia), Mashreq Headquarters (Dubai, UAE), Sky View (Dubai, UAE), The Vertical Medina (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia).
Kevin graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in 7 states and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
Kevin is the co-author of “CADD becomes the Rule, Not the Exception”, Electrical Systems Design and has been a guest lecturer at UIC for architectural design studies. He is a member of the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).
